Imperato Spearheads Libertarian Party Ballot Drives

Independent Libertarian presidential candidate Daniel Imperato made additional contributions to the Libertarian Party ballot access drives in Pennsylvania and Illinois. Combined with last week’s donation for South Dakota, Mr. Imperato's total has added over $6000 and moved him into second place on the Liberty Decides fundraising totals as reported on LP.org.
Recognizing the importance of making sure the candidate of their choice is on every voter's ballot, Mr. Imperato is making good on his commitment to put the Libertarian presidential candidate on the ballot in all 50 states. With the difficulty and enormous expense of third party petition drives, Mr. Imperato noted that the only other independent Ralph Nader (who has not responded to Mr. Imperato’s request to debate) is starting from scratch in attempt to gain ballot access in all fifty states.
“It will take a huge effort for his campaign just to match the 28 states where the Libertarian Party is already on the ballot for president,” stated Imperato. He continued saying, "What we need is one good third party candidate not a bunch of under funded campaigns that split the independent vote."
Calling on independent and third party voters to unite for the common cause of routing out the corruption of the two establishment parties and their mainstream media lap dogs, Mr. Imperato is reaching out to groups across the political spectrum. He is currently seeking the Libertarian Party nomination for president and will be appearing at the Tri-State Libertarian Convention in Malvern, PA on Saturday March 15, 2008.
